What is Time & Space?

Time & Space is a film and alternative process photography anthology centered on memory, place, and the physical nature of photographs.

A call for art was announced on September 1st, 2025, inviting photographers working in film and alternative processes to submit work from across the country. In total, the project received 224 submissions from 82 photographers across the United States.

For the anthology itself, Daniel curated one image from each participating photographer, creating a book that reflects the range of voices, processes, and perspectives within the project. In parallel, a panel of three judges selected 20 images to be featured in the gallery exhibition, with one of those works chosen for the cover of the book.

The anthology exists to highlight photographic work that values tactility, imperfection, and time spent making images, not just consuming them. It is also a way to bring photographers together, put printed work into the world, and create space for conversation and connection.

Throughout the evening, a slideshow featuring all submitted images will be playing, allowing attendees to experience the full scope of the project beyond what is on the gallery walls.
