Time & Space
A Community Photography Anthology
2025
We’re back for Year Two of something truly special!
Last year we published our first ever community photo book. With an incredible 109 photographers, 28 out-of-state submissions, and 242 powerful images we exceeded the definition of a zine and expanded into a book.
We’re ready to do it all over again…
but bigger and better.
Welcome to, Time and Space, a community photo book and online publication that celebrates the authenticity, perspective, and emotion of film photography. This publication is a showcase of analog photography in all its forms. Photographers of all backgrounds, skill levels, and gear coming together, united by a shared passion for film.
Submissions open September 1st, giving you plenty of time to brainstorm, shoot, and select your top work.
Show us what you’ve got. Bring your best, and let’s create something unforgettable together.
The Details
From September 1st to October 31st, submissions will open for up to three images per photographer. A panel of jurors will select one image from your three that best fits the theme and genre. That single image will be featured in the 2025 community photo book anthology.
The exciting part… You won’t find out which one made it in until the release party!
Up to 200 photographers will be included in the final printed book. From those 200 images, a secondary jury will select 20 standout photographs to be printed, framed (at no cost to the photographer), and exhibited at Brill Gallery and Studio during the release event. One of these 20 will be chosen to grace the COVER of the book, and all 20 will receive special features within its pages.
The Theme
Time and Space
This collection explores the moments that mark us and the places that hold us. It honors photography’s unique ability to freeze time and anchor memory to place. Whether fleeting or eternal, each image becomes a conversation between when and where, a personal record of presence, perspective, and pause. Through this lens, we welcome stories of connection, displacement, transformation, memory, and the quiet beauty of just being. What does Time and Space mean to you?
